FAKE LIFE..

I didn't know people could lead double or maybe triple lives so well o. what happened the other day cleared my eyes very well. So these days, even if you pose with the freshest lamborghini and the most correct D& G in front of me, I don't waste my pretty head believing you. Let me share the experience thtat opened my eyes.   There is this babe in school. We all call her Gemzy. mehn! this babe is clean in every sense of the word clean! she has this clique that permanently follow her, they hang ou with the biggest guys in town, wear the fanciest clothes, fix the best hair and stuff like that. Last saturday, my friend Chidera and I went for the traditional marriage of a family friend of hers in one village like that in Anambra state. We left school very late and arrived the village by almost 8pm so we couldn't buy some necessary toiletries. When we had arranged our luggage, we had to go and hunt for toothbrush and bathing soap before we killed other people in the hous

PATIENCE...

Today, I want to share this beautiful story a friend told me somedays back. I hope you enjoy and learn from it. It goes thus... A young man (lets call him Tony) graduated from the university with a beautiful second class upper(2'1 as we call it) but he couldn't get employment with any(I mean any!) company, big or small . Five years later when ofcourse, most of his mates were already settling down reasonably, Tony was still jobless and penniless. On day, he somehow stumbled upon news tha t there was goingto be an interview for job seekers at a major oil company in Nigeria.    On the D-day, Tony as well as over two thousand other jobseekers all over Nigeria stormed (yeah stormed lol) the interview venue. The interview was scheduled for 9am. At about 8am,the entrance to the company was already bubbling with life as so many hopeful fellows waited for the interview to kick off. Many hours later, they were still waiting as the interview was yet to commence. 11
