This morning while washing my clothes, a friend of mine walked up to me and jokingly asked "make I bring my own?". I jokingly replied "you no get hand?". Next he wanted to know if I wouldn't wash my husband's clothes when I get married. I simply told him that I will only assist my husband in doing so if there is a special need for it and not because it is my duty. He shrugged his shoulders in a manner that seemed to say "you are joking". My thoughts: Doing the laundry should be everybody's business. It shouldn't be a 'wifely' duty. (Full-time housewives maybe excluded).Why should it be added to the numerous duties a career wife already has to do?
